Privacy Policy

Last updated: 1 November 2026

Botnas helps businesses manage their Facebook Pages and Instagram professional accounts with automatic replies, Live Chat, posts, insights and ad reports. This policy explains what data we use, why, and how you can delete it.

1Who we are

Botnas is run by Botnas Ltd, 26 Abbey Road, Middleton, Manchester, M24 6HW, United Kingdom. We are the controller of your personal data. Contact: contact@botnas.com.

2Data we collect

3How we use it

We use data from Facebook and Instagram only to provide the features you use, as allowed by Meta's Platform Terms. We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or build profiles of you or the people who message your Pages.

Legal basis (UK and EU GDPR): providing the service you signed up for, our legitimate interest in keeping it secure and working, your consent where needed, and legal duties such as keeping accounting records.

4Who we share it with

Some of these providers process data outside the UK. When they do, we rely on safeguards approved under UK law, such as standard contractual clauses.

5How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account or remove Botnas from Facebook, we delete your data, including access tokens, messages and comments, within 30 days. We only keep records the law requires, such as payment records.

6How to delete your data

  • In the app: open the side menu → Settings → Delete Your Account.
  • On Facebook: go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites, find Botnas and tap Remove. We then delete your data automatically, and Facebook gives you a confirmation code and a link to check the status.
  • By email: write to contact@botnas.com from the email linked to your account.

7Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, delete or download your data, or object to how we use it. Email contact@botnas.com and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

8Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limit access to your data to what is needed to run Botnas.

9Children

Botnas is for businesses and people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and tell you in the app about important changes.
